Girls Night Out with JayR and MichaelAngelo

just want to start this by thanking liza, mary, caryl, daye, grace, gela for this night out. winner! please bear with me. this is a long post.. and big thanks to liza for the pics.. really appreciate it.. :)

was able to have my 2nd close encounter with jayr. the first was when i watched his big concert at folk arts. there was this set where he is covering some opms and he is giving away unisilver necklace. he passed by our aisle. i was already contented just to see him upclose but when he was about to pass by again to go back to the stage, there was one girl who embraced and kissed him. naisip ko, "ako din, ako din". heheh..when he was about to approach the place where i was seated, i immediately blocked his path(hehe), said his name, hugged and made beso beso.. sosing bakya! grabe.. nagkapawis tuloy pisngi ko..hehe... it was great coz there were no other girls trying to get near him. as in, ako lang ang makapal aside from the girl na nauna.

anyway, going back to our night out..

to start with, this is actually the first time the group went out. nakakatuwa coz they even wore something special for this date. it's only me and grace that went there wearing normal getup. heheh..kj ba? nga pala, i bought his latest cd and even brought my old one just in case there is a signing session after the show. and yup. there was... ;)

at the bathroom. preparing... :D ang gaganda nila o....

off to bagaberde.. we ate first at marina since the show will start at 930pm. great food. sarap ng kadyos.. tama ba spelling? hehe... high tech sila a. hehe.. if you need something, just press the buzzer that's on your table and the table no. will automatically be displayed in a monitor and a crew will then approach you. naks! at paglaruan daw ba ang buzzer.. heheh..

ok.. it's show time.. show started with michaelangelo. band composed of brothers michael and angelo. hehe.. nice voice. great setlist.. got to hear covers of u2, oasis, pearl jam, rem and other good bands.

after michaelangelo's set. next came karla of myxtreme with a solo number then jimmy muna came in introducing jayr..

grabe.. wasn't able to let this pass without getting my picture with him even if he's just in the background. although i know it's really embarassing and we're even near the stage, i asked liza to take my picture. heheh.. sorry mary, i wasn't really aware that i was pushing you. but seriously, i'm not really pushing you away ha..hehe..

oks lang mary kahit kasama ka sa frame.. talaga 'to o.. :D

the first song was "just the way you are"... at first i was singing along but later got busy getting my pic taken with him at the background that when i sat down again, the song was almost finished and he was pointing his mic at me letting me sing the last line.. i was surprised but then i sang "the way... you are". fortunately, the mic was a little bit far so that my voice was not heard. heheh.. nakakahiya.. nahiya pa daw o..

just the way you are, let me love you, just friends, i gotta girl (one of my fave in gameface), knock me off my feet (galing!), if i ain't got you, my boo, why i love... after this, the guitarist of myxtreme sang reasons while jayr rested on the side of the stage but he gamely posed and signed cds. thanks again liza for even volunteering to take a picture of me and jayr.. grabe. nahiya pa ko ha. i would have regretted it.

ok.. solb!.. next.. audience participation.. kakaaliw! next set. tonight, hey ma, 3am, di ko sadya & bakit pa ba.. then autograph signing...

serious! hehe....

i went alone to have my cds signed. ba't nga pala ayaw nyo sumama? anyway, i waited for about 20-30 mins. there were many fans inside, i think those are regulars coz they didn't line up to see jayr. anyway, our batch came. there were 2 girls in front of me. the three of us went in. while the two girls were preparing to take pictures of jayr. i was asked by karl (i think) if i'm member of jayr_online and i said yes. asked my name and told jayr that i'm a member of his online group. jayr smiled and said na ang galing ko daw kasi alam ko lahat ng songs nya (we were seated near the stage that's why he might have seen me singing along with him a lot of times. me eye contact ba.. hehehe.).. astig! he then asked for my name and smiled. he then sat down to have his pic taken along with the 2 girls. i even volunteered to take their pictures coz i was the only one near them at that time. heheh..

nga pala, manong who was sitting at the side of the room near jayr reached for my cd covers and placed them in the table where jayr will sign it. when it was my turn, i asked him if he could take my picture with jayr using my voyager. hehe. kapal. he took some time to have our picture taken. nangapa pa si manong.

ok.. jayr then asked if my name is l-y-n or l-i-n. naks. he remembered my name. pero he asked me again if i'm a member of jayr_online and i said yes. di nya natandaan. heheh..he then started to sign my cd and then said again na ang galing ko daw kasi alam ko lahat ng songs nya (ayus a!). i said yup. the best kasi.. tapos sabi ko na lang na actually ung 1st album nya e saulo ko na yung 2nd e sasauluhin pa lang. heheh.. he smiled. then he mentioned that i look familiar. i told him that i was only able to watch his concert at folk arts. i forgot if i mentioned that i was one of those who kissed him.. heheh.. kakahiya.. then after signing my cd he then embraced me and made beso beso (o, di ako ang nang-embrace and beso beso ngayon a) and thanked me. i was about to leave since the next batch already entered the room when he asked me to watch his valentine show with kyla. i asked the dates and he said that it will be on feb 10 and 11. sabi ko sure. i then asked the venue and he told me it's in aliw. hehe. grabe.. na-star struck talaga ako & di ako makapaniwala na tsinitsika ako ni jayr.. nasabi ko na lang. ay malapit lang. sure, i'm gonna watch your concert.. hehe. :D then i said thank you and left. grabe!

what a night! anyway, we stayed to watch the 2nd set of michaelangelo. jayr is still there and liza, mary & daye decided to go to jayr to have their pics taken. syempre, sama ako.. anyway, we're the only ones left outside the room so we were immediately allowed to go inside. once inside, jayr said "you're lyn right?", natuwa naman ako dun. hehe. he remembered (but i think he will forget it eventually since in one of his posts in jayr_online, he mentioned that he's poor in remembering names). i just said "yup and these are my friends.. " pa-picture lang po.. thanks karl for taking our picture.
