Hale Listers Fest

a fellow linkin park fan, xvader, invited me and mushroom to be a part of the listers party organized by hale's official yahoo group. although i'm not really that eager to watch them, we agreed since we haven't seen each other for a long time. chance for me to give them their singapore keychains. hehe.. we've registered and i got the P150 each tickets from burgundy hotel at v.cruz.

the concert was great.. nice music.. great voice. i think they already got their much needed rest. before i really didn't like them playing live coz vocals is not that good. eh, that's what i really look for in music. good vocals and nice melody. lyrics?.. so so... but i love their album. i love all their songs. that's why i was really disappointed when i heard them singing live in some shows on tv and it's not even that close to their polished album.. anyway, they redeemed themselves through their performance in this event. glad i watched it. galing!

My friend Mushroom's Fort Minor Myspace event at L.A.

ingit ako! hehe...

held at L.A. last oct 29.

"omg!omg!! i saw Mike and Chester on the FM Myspace show!!!! Mike and crew were sooo good! and he pulled Chester out onstage and they did In The End(remix) and Mike said *for those who doubt the solidarity of the band (LP),were gonna do something* and he said that theyre doing side projects now.. Mike said when he introduced himself to the crowd(i was at the pit,4-5 persons in front of me) he said* Im Mike Shinoda from a band called Linkin Park*..i was in HEAVEN when i saw Chester, screaming my lungs out! Mike looked/sounded good ditching the upper lip moustache! when Chester thanks the crowd he said *i love you to the crowd and to Mike* and they hugged like good ol friends.." - mushroom

here's a pic of mike & chester taken by mushroom at the event.

for more info on mike's latest project, you can read from his own journal at linkinpark.com -> mike shinoda's numb journal

by the way, here's an excerpt of the FORT MINOR bio from www.fortminor.com

"Shinoda's rap roots have always had to share space with other elements until now. Fort Minor is wholly unique, unadulterated hip hop album, owing as much to Shinoda's polished lyricism as his musical adeptness. The variety of themes, styles, and moods he creates make this "side project" likely to do much more than simply satisfy existing LP fans; it threatens to expose Shinoda as a rap devotee who is as at home in hip-hop as he is in the cross-genre hybrid of Linkin Park....."

let's support Mike. support Fort Minor!
